Beauty Has a New Name in Paris / Belleyme Café & Spa
A unique concept store in the Marais offers a holistic approach to beauty and wellness in a cozy little coffee shop with a secret sauna
The name Belleyme is a clever play on words combining the French word « belle » (which means beautiful) with the English word « me » and attaching them with the Spanish conjunction « y », which is used to tie words or phrases together. In basic English, the best translation would be « beauty & me », and that is exactly what the founder Carla Haddou had in mind.
Generating a Virtuous Circle
« My wish in creating Belleyme was to offer a new approach to beauty by first concentrating on wellness. I’m convinced that by taking care of ourselves and taking care of our bodies using different methods, we can contribute to our overall wellness – be it mental, physical, nutritional or emotional – and that will generate a virtuous circle», says Carla Haddou.

Designed by the talented duo of Studio Haddou / Dufourcq, formed by Kim Haddou and Florent Dufourcq, Belleyme is a beautiful little boutique draped in warm pastels, featuring pale pink walls and a richer earthier rust for the velour curtains, that crate a peaceful, feminine vibe. The boutique serves several purposes, as a cute neighbourhood café, a holistic beauty shop and a mini spa.
Try Organic Supplements from Around the World
Drop by the healthy coffee shop for a delicious coffee, smoothie or cake, gluten free of course. Try one of the many organic dietary supplements from around the world to help improve overall health. Taste the sought after « Lion’s Mane Brain Boost » by So Mush Organic, before it sells out again. Book a Session in the Secret Infrared Sauna
And last but not least, book a session in the infrared sauna, hidden behind the velvet curtains, that will purify the mind and body in 30 minutes top. Infrared rays help stimulate the circulation and boost the immune system, they burn fat and help reduce cellulite, the reduced heat helps stimulate collagen for the skin and helps liberate mood enhancing endorphins, so you’re sure to walk out of the spa in a better mood than when you went in. Each spa session last 50 minutes – 30 minutes for the sauna – and 20 minutes for a refreshing shower. Everything you need is right there in your own private cabin.
